Spb TV Lets You Stream Internet TV To Your Phone

Spb Software House has released yet another title for our Nokia E71, this one called Spb TV. The application allows you to quickly access a number of streaming internet TV stations, as well as a few broadcast stations that stream their broadcasts. You can use either WiFi or 3G to stream, and it appears to work awesome on the Nokia E63, which means it should work fine on the E71, too!

You can surf channels either in browser mode, with thumbnail previews, or in TV Guide mode, with more details on the channel and/or what’s showing. Once you’ve found a channel to watch, there’s even a picture-in-picture mode, so that you can find a new station without missing what’s currently playing on your station.

Symbian-Guru put together a great video showing the application on his Nokia E63:

There are two versions of Spb TV – the free version offers limited channel selection and few features, while the full version offers a great selection of stations, as well as the ability to set a calendar reminder from the TV Guide. You can get both straight from Spb Softwarehouse.
