Introducing The E71Blog Store!

We’re all huge fans of the Nokia E71, which means that we either own one, or want to own one. To make that easier, I’ve setup the E71Blog Store, partnering up with Amazon. Through here, you can purchase the E71 (either color), or the E63 (since it’s close enough). You can also pick up the E71x, if you’d rather do that.

I’ve also gone through and hand-selected a few appropriate accessories for our phones, including cases, protective shields, and screen protectors, all guaranteed to work perfectly with your E71. The 2.5mm-to-3.5mm (3-ring) adapter is in there, too, so that you can easily use whatever headphones you want with your phone. MicroSD cards are also available, with the 8GB version only $15!

Hopefully, this will make it easier for you to find the correct accessories for your phone, and it helps me out with hosting this blog! Be sure to pass the link to your friends, and feel free to purchase other Amazon.com products through the store, as well. The store is handled completely by the experts at Amazon.com, which means your credit card and mailing address information is safe. The store is available at http://www.E71blog.com/store, or you can click the big friendly button on the sidebar over there.

  3. Looks good.
One thing that would be nice to know is whether the microSD cards are standard(25Mhz) or Hi-speed(50Mhz). I suspect the E71 doesn’t properly handle Hi-speed cards as I found the data gets corrpupted (run chkdsk from a Windows machine). When I use a standard speed card I don’t get any corruption problems.

  4. Idean – from what I have heard from Nokia, the E71-2 NAM is not planned for a black model release – AT&T essentially got the exclusive on that color scheme for NAM.

In the ebay link you posted, if you scroll through, you’ll see that it’s WCDMA 900/2100MHz. That’s European 3G, not U.S.

  6. First off, that’s about the shadiest website I’ve ever seen. Second, the link you provided goes to a blank page. Third, yes, they have the black E71, but it’s from AT&T – the unbranded black E71 is not going to support AT&T’s 3G – you have to get it from AT&T.

Here’s what you may be looking for:

    http://www.mobilecityonline.com/wireless/store/productdetail.asp?productid=24124

It is a Euro phone (E71-1), but it claims to support 850/900/1800/1900 bands.

  8. iff2mastamatt – all models of the E71 are quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz), but that will only get you data at EDGE speeds. For 3G, you need WCDMA (900/2100MHz in Europe) and (850/1900MHz in the U.S. and Canada).
