Without blackberry connect support; the E71 is a cute phone; not a blackberry killer. Furthermore, without bb connect support, most of the "corporate" or "enterprise" folk who would like the device will not be able to use it within their blackberry environment for the same reason. Bye bye E71. . . came, seen, gone...

Nokia needs to rethink its stance related to bbc support within their E series devices.

The Euro version has 3G, just not usable in the U.S., which is where Antoine is based, as well as myself.

@Daan, we didn't really bet heavily, so much as two of the top four carriers chose CDMA, while the other 2 chose GSM/3G. Thus, neither can use the others' networks. Also, thanks to the FCC, T-Mobile uses a different frequency of 3G than AT&T, who also uses a different frequency than the rest of the world.

indeed, why shouldn't the euro version not have 3g? In fact it's the USA who's lagging in 3g coverage. I do remember your guys in the states were betting havely on cdma or something. 3g networks are here in place since 1999/2000....
